The four of us went on a little trip this weekend. We all needed a break so bad.
We got up Saturday and headed for Corpus for a wonderful little mini break.
We spent the majority of the morning and afternoon exploring The Lexington. Man was that a work out. Seriously I can not imagine being on that Ship and actually knowing how to get around without getting lost. It is amazing how big it is and to think they only let you go to maybe 1/3 of it.
Then we checked into our hotel and got to swimming. I really need to get Tanner into swim lessons. He loves the water and isnt really afraid but, doenst know how to swim. I saw so many other children some even younger then him swimming around like fish.
Sydney LOVED the water. She is gonna be our water baby. She had no fear. She preferred to be on her belly. She would relax and her bottom half would float and she would just splash away. If you turned her over to her back she would freak out. Her nickname so fits her in so many ways. Our little Turtle. :)
Sunday morning we hit the beach for a little sand fun and then headed home. We were home by noon and cleaning up, and getting ready for the week.
My sister and her boyfriend started their journey from Washington to Texas Saturday. You have no idea how excited we are that they are moving to Texas. I miss her dearly. Tanner is super stoked to have his godmother home. He loves her so much. And then of coarse she cant wait to meet her niece. It is hard to be so far away. But, no more she will be here sometime tonight and we will see her tomorrow. :)
