Weekends over

We had a nice weekend.

Friday night Billy and a few guys from work went for a couple beers right after work. When he got home we went to grab a bite to eat and to the grocery store. My intention was to get the shopping done so I wouldnt have to do it later in the weekend since we had plans.

Saturday morning we had a Birthday party and had to run to Target before to get the present cause I am a goof and have baby brain and forgot to get it when we were at Walmart the night before.
So we picked up a gift and then off to Peter Piper Pizza for the party. Tanner had a good time. Other then the one incident where he came over and said these kids he didnt know would not stop looking at him. LOL!! He said he told them to stop and they wouldnt so he was ready to leave. Man that boy is something at times.

Saturday night we were at the in laws for dinner. It was their 34th wedding anniversary. Everyone brought over their choice of meat and we did a big bbq cook out. I was good and had a nice salad. I am determined to get into my clothes and then loose the extra weight to get to a comfy me. :)

Yesterday we went to the rodeo. It was a nice day. At times a bit on the chilly side due to the wind but all in all nice. Tanner had a lot of fun.

He rode the pony but was pissed that they made him put on the belt. He is a big boy and the pony didnt go fast so why mom. LOL

He got to feed the animals. Which was the cutest thing ever. This was where his attitude came in handy. Those animals were HUNGRY and every time I would hand Tanner a bit of food one of the goats would come to steal it and Tanner would clench his fist, turn around, and tell them NO NO NO you go away. There was this one lonely deer by the fence that he fell in love with and soon didnt want to feed anyone but this deer. It was too cute. He kept asking why the deer looked sad and was all alone. :(

This was the first year that Tanner really understood the carnival rides and was excited to ride. Last year he was a little afraid. But, man this year he was excited and after each ride he would come running off with the most beautiful glow in his eyes. Of coarse it didnt last long when we told him it was time to go. If we were smart we would have bought the arm band. $25 for unlimited riding or $1 a ticket and most rides were 3 or 4 tickets a piece. Then a few he wasnt tall enough and Billy had to ride with him. And they make the parent pay as well.

And then miss Sydney spent her day sleeping. :)
